Shadows of Anoikis

Welcome capsuleers to the development blog and staging point for the creation for the new corporation - Mythical Creatures!

Mythical Creatures is a rare collection of Anoikis space specialists who thrive in the niche black market industry that is intelligence gathering. Our focus is on gathering data and exploiting that data for the most profit. Our members are experts in gathering intelligence and mapping wormhole chains quickly, quietly, and effectively. We work together to produce shared networks of data from which we can coordinate group projects and create content for customers and one-another.

As this is a first-time venture to create a corporation within EVE, we will be starting small. Initial steps for the corp will include scouting and staking claim to a wormhole of our choosing, setting up a POS for central operations and resource gathering, and forming a small group of dedicated members who can fly doctrines tailored to our initial objectives. The immediate focus of the corp in it's infancy will be on the following activities:

1. Covert Intel Gathering
   - Scanning down the home chain and connections
   - Watchlisting neighboring corps, noting POS locations, system mapping, general recon
   - Research into angles of operation and value of intel
2. High-Value Resource Extraction & Production
   - Ninja gas huffing from high-class gas signatures (C320)
   - Corp-wide, organized PI production lines
3. Coordinated Combat Activities
   - Small gang stealth bomber PvP roams
   - Sleeper site PvE

The base doctrine ships required for immigration to our home wormhole system will be fleshed-out in the coming weeks regarding specific fits. The following list will be minimum expectations for members wishing to get involved from the start:

• Cov-Ops Frigates (Steath Bomber and Exploration Frigate)
• Venture Mining Frigate with Gas Cloud Harvesters and Mining Beams
• Hole-rolling Cruiser or Battlecruiser (Ex: Moa with Higgs Rig and Afterburner)
• Industrial ship for PI and general hauling

I will elaborate on specific fits, as well as include several PvE and PvP fits, in the coming weeks. For those of you wishing to have a hand in the development of the corp and are wishing to dive right in from the beginning, these ships are an absolute must for our initial operations. All members will be expected to have basic knowledge about wormhole space and its mechanics, as well as basic scanning and bookmarking ability.

Down the rabbit hole...

While ideas develop as to what an unaligned wormhole-dwelling intelligence corp might look like in practice, I struggle to find ways of implementing recruitment for a new corporation in a way that will minimize risk. The objective is to start out initially with a POS at a location with voice comms (TS, Mumble, Skype, etc), a few doctrine ships, and begin working on building capital and content.

I am inclined to set up a POS out of pocket and invite players on a monthly fuel bill rental basis with strict restrictions on access to anything other than one's own personal storage. This limits us initially from doing any reactions, compressions, refining, and the like - but it does set the stage for a group who are willing and capable of providing for themselves in Anoikis. The first few months of living together in a hole will weed out the shiesty and we will move forward from there.
